Among the steel structures of modern chemical industrial plants, the H-beam flange straightening machine is the most widely used and widely used steel structure. The biggest advantage of this steel structure used in industrial workshops is its strong disassembly ability and convenience for relocation.

The production of an H-beam is relatively simple, but the technical requirements are very high. Manufacturing accuracy and welding deformation control are the keys to the manufacturing quality of the H-beam. Therefore, the factors affecting the quality and welding deformation are found out through analysis to ensure the quality of the H-beam flange straightening machine.

In order to meet the higher technical requirements of H-beam, the following process flow is formulated: blanking → assembly of flange plate and web plate → positive and negative positioning welding → automatic welding → correction → end cutting and grinding → sample drilling → assembly of small parts → inspection and delivery.

Because of the strict requirements on the weld. Automatic welding is adopted for 4 main welding seams of section steel, and manual gas shielded welding is adopted for other end plates, connecting angle steel, and reinforcing plate. In production, it is found that welding problems are generally found in four main welds. The welding sequence of the four main welds is very important to the overall deformation of the component. If welding is carried out in strict accordance with the welding sequence shown in Fig.2, the side bending in both directions of the component can be minimized, which is conducive to the correction work in the next process. In addition, the welding foot is too big for welding, which causes the welding wire to be too big to correct.

Assembly work is an important link in the production of an H-beam flange straightening machine. The requirements of riveters for steel structure assembly are relatively high. In assembly work, perpendicularity and flatness of the end face must be ensured. It is easy to ignore the problem of stagger between flange plate and web plate in assembly. As many flange plates and webs are splicing materials, they should be staggered by more than 600mm, and some restricted areas, such as the drilling area, should be avoided. In the process of positioning welding, for the safety problem of forming and lifting of automatic welding in the next process, the positioning welding should be made as long and thin as possible.
