In the process of welding, we come across many problems and in the following, we will list some of the problems that cannot be ignored in welding equipment.

1. Not pay attention to choose the best voltage

Phenomenon: The first detail is the problem of current and voltage. Some welding workers are a little bit casual, and they cannot judge the change of materials during the welding process. Therefore, they always use certain current and voltage for welding, which will inevitably lead to different results of different materials. The welding effect also largely caused problems in product quality. Therefore, in order to ensure that product specifications are accurate and meet national standards, special attention must be paid to the regulation of voltage and current.

Measures: Generally, the corresponding long arc or short arc should be selected for different material to get better welding quality and working efficiency. For example, in order to obtain better penetration in short welding, short arc operation should be used. In order to obtain higher efficiency and melting width in filling welding or cover welding, the arc voltage can be increased appropriately.

2. Not paying attention to control the arc length when welding

Phenomenon: The length of the arc is determined according to the specifications and uses of the product, so whether the product can play its role and effect depends largely on the length of the arc. There is a detail to remember that the steel plate must be grooved first after six millimeters and then welded. I am afraid that the troublesome drawing is not easy. The product obtained by direct welding positionerwithout opening the groove cannot meet the standard of use. In addition, the product produced is stable. Therefore, grasp these four details, and it is the high-quality products.

Measures: In order to ensure the quality of the weld, short arc operation is generally used during welding, but the appropriate arc length can be selected according to different situations to obtain the best welding quality, such as the first joint of V-groove butt joint and corner joint. The layer should use a shorter arc to ensure penetration and no undercuts. The second layer can be slightly longer to fill the weld. When the gap between welds is small, a short arc should be used. When the gap is large, the arc can be slightly longer, and the welding speed is accelerated.

3. Not paying attention to control the temperature between layers

Phenomenon:When welding thick plates in multiple layers, if the interval between layers is too long, welding without reheating will easily cause cold cracks between the layers; if the interval is too short, the temperature between layers is too high (over 900), the performance of the weld and heat affected zone will also be affected, which will cause the coarsening of the grains, resulting in a decrease in toughness and plasticity, which will leave potential hidden danger to the joint.

Measures:When thick plates are welded in multiple layers, the control of the temperature between the layers should be strengthened. During the continuous welding process, the temperature of the welding base material should be checked to ensure that the temperature between the layers can be consistent with the preheating temperature. The maximum temperature should also be controlled.
